If you have an app or a SaaS, you know that organic marketing on TikTok and Instagram Reels is fundamental. But there's a problem: it requires an inhuman amount of time and consistency. You have to produce content every day, test different hooks, analyze the data, and start over.
Over the last few weeks, I experimented with a different approach: delegating the entire process to an OpenClaw agent. I'm not talking about a bot that spams random content, but an intelligent system that researches competitors, generates realistic photo carousels, adds high-converting text, and uses data to understand what actually works.
Here is how I structured this automation and how you can replicate it for your projects.
The Marketing Agent Architecture
To create an agent capable of managing social media marketing, you need to combine several tools orchestrated by OpenClaw:
- OpenAI (
gpt-image-1.5) to generate photorealistic images. - node-canvas for programmatically adding text overlays to images.
- Postiz for cross-platform posting and, most importantly, data analytics.
- RevenueCat (optional but highly recommended) to close the loop and track real conversions, not just views.

1. Images: The Secret is Consistency
On TikTok, image carousels (slideshows) get on average three times more comments than standard videos. The problem with generative AI is that it tends to produce "obviously fake" images or inconsistent results between slides.
The solution is twofold. First: use gpt-image-1.5. Unlike previous versions, it produces results that look like they were actually shot with an iPhone. Second: use anchor prompts.
If you're promoting an interior design app, the prompt shouldn't just be "a nice living room," but:
"iPhone photo of a small galley kitchen with white cabinets, realistic lighting, natural colors, taken on iPhone 15 Pro. No text, no watermarks. Same window on left wall, same grey sofa."
By repeating architectural details in every slide generated by the agent, you create a sense of continuity that tricks the eye and stops the user's scroll.
2. Text Overlays: Rhythm is Everything
Having beautiful images isn't enough. The text overlays are what drive the narrative. The OpenClaw agent uses node-canvas to dynamically calculate the font size and position the text exactly 28% from the top (the safe zone on TikTok and Reels).
The rules I taught the agent for writing texts that convert:
- Maximum 4-6 words per line. They must be scannable in an instant.
- Reactions, not descriptions. "Wait... is this really the same room??" works a hundred times better than "Modern minimalist style".
- Thick black outline to ensure readability against any photographic background.
3. The Feedback Loop (The Real Magic)
This is where the OpenClaw agent truly shines. Posting is easy; understanding why something works is hard.
Every morning, the agent runs a cron job that queries the Postiz API to retrieve views, likes, and saves from the last 3 days. Then it cross-references this data with subscriptions tracked via RevenueCat.
This creates an autonomous decision loop:
- High views + High conversions: The agent understands the format works and generates 3 new variants of that carousel.
- High views + Low conversions: The initial hook is great, but the Call to Action (CTA) is weak. The agent keeps the first slide and tests new graphics or text for the last slide.
- Low views + Low conversions: Format discarded. It starts over with a new angle.

The Era of AI Marketing
Delegating organic marketing to an agent doesn't mean sacrificing quality. It means scaling the testing process. A human can create and test two or three formats a week. An OpenClaw agent can generate, post, and analyze dozens of variants, constantly optimizing for ROI.
If you are building software products today, user acquisition shouldn't be a manual process. It should be a data pipeline, and OpenClaw is the perfect orchestrator to manage it.
